Contact usThe course aims to introduce participants to the ultrasound approach of the hemodynamically unstable patient. This course is aimed at two audiences: physicians who are knowledgeable about ultrasound and want to consolidate their knowledge, and novices who would like to be introduced to it.
At the conclusion of training, participants will be better able to:

This course is accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Participants will be entitled to :
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians.

No. The course was developed so that medical personnel with little or no previous ultrasound training could attend.
Anyone likely to encounter critically ill patients (physicians, students, PAs, Nurses, paramedics, RTs…)
No. Unlike X-rays, ultrasound does not pose a health risk.
Only after completing your post-event exercise (6 to 12 weeks after your training, you will be able to obtain your Mainpro+ credits.
The EGLS course gives you 16 Group Learning certified credits (Mainpro+). Also, this training is an accredited group learning activity (Section 1), such as defined by The Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (8 credits).
